HEROES star HAYDEN PANETTIERE's father ALAN has reportedly been arrested over claims he assaulted his wife.
Fire department lieutenant Panettiere was arrested on a felony count of domestic violence in the early hours of Monday morning (11Aug08). He is accused of striking the actress' mother, former U.S. soap star Lesley, according to TMZ.com. The incident reportedly occurred following a row at a Los Angeles restaurant earlier in the evening.
The website also reports that Panettiere is currently being held on $50,000 (25,000) bail.
